Disney News Rodeo Roundup
It's been a slowish week for Disney news, but that's ok because it means what did come out might actually be worthy of our time to write about it.
The biggest story is that Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios has an opening date and menu!
According to Walt Disney World,
Using some of his favorite toys, games, and playsets, Andy has created a rodeo arena for his toys … and all honorary toys visiting Andy’s backyard. Chow down on house-smoked meats, a roundup of sides, sweet surprises, and more in this western-themed family-style restaurant, where you’ll see the world through the eyes of Andy’s toys.
Opening March 23, 2023 this new restaurant is much needed in a very desolate, kid friendly area of the park. Really more sit down restaurants are needed in general at Hollywood Studios. While this is not a character dining experience it should be a fun approachable restaurant for the kid in all of us. My best guess is that pricing will be similar to 'Ohana dinner and be around $60 for adults and $35 for kids. Brisket is and expensive cut of meat and with it being all you care to enjoy I think this will come close to the price. We will of course maybe let you know on the podcast the prices when the booking date is released.

Now it's time for some Tron news.
Disney has released 4 things to know before the opening on 4/4. And these are pretty important so here's the highlights.
1. JOIN TEAM BLUE VIA THE VIRTUAL QUEUE
No surprise here. I wonder when they will end the virtual queue for Guardians?
2. INDIVIDUAL LIGHTNING LANE ENTRY
Again no surprise, but does this mean 7 Dwarfs Mine Train will be added to Genie+??
3. NEW LOCKER SYSTEM
This is a big one. While Universal is known for its locker system, this will be Disney's first time using them. Definitely study up on how they work. This also means a MagicBand will be really needed to make it work effectively.
4. DISNEY PHOTOPASS PHOTO AND VIDEO OFFERINGS
I love on ride photos so I am really excited about this!
